Find Jeff and Susan

While out shooting some portraits last week, I kept running into these great grunge textures all around me.  I kept seeing interesting stones, bark, moss, wood, peeling paint and all kinds of great stuff that I would possibly use in designing unique grunge texture graphics.  Being the caring guy that I am, I decided to release this gallery of over 25 free grunge textures into the public domain.  This means you can use them for any purpose including commercial purposes without need for further permission from me.  I’d love it if you’d give me a link if you use them to encourage me to release even more images into the public domain.  I think it is important for photographers and artists to occasionally give images to the public domain and I have thousands of images on my hard drive I’m considering releasing but it takes time and energy to get them posted so if you can credit me, great.  These images are also available for download at high resolution, 10mp, 350dpi in my free grunge texture gallery.  There’s a small charge for the hi-res images to cover my costs of shooting, processing and uploading these huge files.  Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy these free public domain grunge textures.

Update: I am aware that there seems to be a problem with the gallery – it’s loading slowly (they are largish files after all) so what I’d recommend is that you look at the thumbnails and open only those you are interested in downloading rather than using the slideshow.  I think there’s a plugin conflict here and I’m working to resolve it.  You can also look at thumbnails in the gallery above.  Thanks!
